Call for applications for the INES BIASONI Award

Worth 4,000 (four thousand) Euros, the Ines Biasoni Award was established by Istituto Veneto di
Scienze, Lettere ed Arti with the funds donated by Mrs Ines Biasoni to support scientific research.
The grant is awarded to a doctoral thesis in the fields of Earth, Human or Social Sciences that has Climate as its subject of study.

Today, November 5th 2025, at the Campus of Agripolis, the new students of the 41st cycle of the PhD in Crop Science (together with the students of the other PhD courses held in Agripolis) were welcomed and provided with a lot of useful information about their future life in the Campus.

External funders of the PhD

Most of the fellowships of the PhD in Crop Science are funded by the University of Padova. In addition, we have also a long list of external funders, coming from both the public and private sectors, collaborating with our PhD program through co-funding and/or joint supervision of specific research projects.
