The meeting was aimed at promoting the potential of the Doctoral Programs of the University of Padua, Agripolis Campus, in addressing the challenges of the agro-environmental sector with the presentation of the doctoral projects funded by the National Operational Program (PON) Research and Innovation 2014-2020 and implemented in collaboration with Companies.

From June 17th to 28th, a group of students and professors from Auburn University will be engaging in joint activities with our PhD students in Crop Science.
Dominique Rocher was invited for the 25th episode of the Arqus Knowledge Pills “How can bioplastics contribute to a more sustainable future?”. Dominique is an Arqus Talent Fund scholarship awardee and researcher in Microbiology & Environmental Science and co-founder of Urobo and whose project has been recently selected in South Africa and COP28 in Dubai. In this episode, the importance of bioplastics in mitigating the plastic pollution crisis was discussed.
The event focuses on “Communicating research” and challenges UNIPhD Fellows to share their project ideas with colleagues from other disciplines and to exchange perspectives and methodologies across fields of knowledge other than their own.
The Fondazione “Ing. Aldo Gini” supports those who plan to pursue a period of study and/or specialization in a department of the University of Padova in the scientific fields of Agriculture, Engineering or Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences.
